Radio Ping Pong with Rob Weisberg

Hello Y'all,

A couple times a year Rob Weisberg is kind enough to ask me to bring a box of records and go track to track for 2 hours. For the first hour we have decided to have Spain (Rob) go up against Latin America (Pat.). Sometimes it can get hectic sometimes it is smooth but it is always a lot of fun.

Aint Crack Great! Waitng for Hurricane Isabel

Hey Y'all,
Got some great new 45s to spin in the wee hours this week. The Diplomats of Solid Sound sent along three new slabs of tasty treats. "Pork Chop" on Estrus Records, "Bullfrog Boo-Ga-Loo"/"Willie's Theme" on Prescription and a 4 track EP on Butterfly. Also The New Process (Poet of Rhythm side project) slammin' 45 "Freedom"/"Bus People Theme," Now and Again Records re-issue and the Hip-Club issue The Soul 69 doing their "Theme". Boo-ga-loo your ass to Maxwell's and let's get some action in before Isabel, the damn hurricane, hits.

Other new gems:
No CD player but have you heard "The Ocillator" by James Taylor Quartet this is fantastic also the Express Rising LP is amazing. Got a Copy of Cypress Hill's - "Los Grandes Exitos en Espanol" and hope to spin some of this soon. Happy happy joy joy.
